The Wäschereimuseum announces a new program Much loved “Dust Catchers” an exquisite exhibition of Ens and other Porcelainfrom February the 27th until July the 26th Porcelain has been produced in many parts of the world for over 11,000 years since it was introduced in China. The Chinese used a very fine white clay to make the “China” and that’s probably where the name “White Gold” used to describe porcelain, originated. Karl Ens manufactured very fine porcelain from 1919 to 1939 in Volkstedt Thuringia Germany. For viewing at the Waschereimuseum is an exquisite collection of Ens porcelain owned by Birgit S. Many folks have private collections such as art, artifacts, collectibles, memorabilia, and, being private these wonderful collections are rarely seen publically. A display of beautiful Ens porcelain is the first of a series of public showings of the treasures collected by people of the area.
